edrich at the dabbling duck
Bill Edrich (1916 - 1985)
Bill Edrich was a versatile all-round cricketer from the great Norfolk cricketing family and played for Middlesex and England – and was, at one time, the fastest bowler in England in the 1940s.
He lost what might have been his best years to World War Two, where he served with distinction in the RAF as a Squadron Leader in bombers and was awarded the DFC.
The squadron unwound between missions with games of cricket at next door Massingham Hall.
The Edrich is a double bedroom in duck-egg blue with coordinating accessories.
