broom at the dabbling duck
Ivor Broom (1920 - 2003)
Named after a pilot who was exceptionally determined gifted and lucky. Ivor Broom was one of only three of the original RAF 18th squadron pilots to return and fly again from Great Massingham after the squadron was posted overseas.
Incredibly he survived all the theatres of war he served in and eventually rose to the rank of Air Marshal Sir Ivor Broom KCB CBE DSO DFC (2 bars) AFC.
He was pleased to return to Little Massingham Church for the dedication of the Roll of Honour in 1980.
The Broom is a double bedroom in mustard yellow with coordinating accessories.
