Eating at The Dabbling Duck

Now listed in the The Good Food Guide we combine good food, good wine with a friendly village pub atmosphere. Families are welcome especially when weather permits into the large attractive gardens with children’s play-area. Well-behaved dogs are also allowed in the front restaurant and bar……we even have a doggy menu!

We have a good drinking trade, busy evenings where our rustic elm bar is often propped up by locals and the hops hanging from the beams are a nod to our variety of real ales – recognised by CAMRA. Enjoy a pint of real ale with one of our bar snacks?

The pub also has a carefully selected wine list, hopefully we have something for everyone to enjoy. If you are a gin lover we have selected thirteen different ones for you to try or maybe you would like to try a cocktail?

There are several seating/dining areas in the pub including our “library” a lovely large room suitable for a variety of functions, corporate events, parties or family dining area.In the garden when the weather is dry we have a wood fired pizza oven, SERVING PIZZA IN THE GARDEN ONLY. Fresh pizza with yummy toppings that everyone will love including the kids. View our pizza menu. Our pizza oven is only open on Friday & Saturday 6pm-10pm.

It is essential that you phone to book a table at weekends.
We try our very best to accommodate guests who do not have a reservation for dinner, however you may experience considerable delays if you do not reserve a table. During the week we still advise to book a table to avoid disappointment.
