Room 3: Miller
Keith Miller (1919 – 2004)
Keith Miller was an overtly glamorous cricketer from Australia who was considered to be the world’s outstanding all-round player for some years after the Second World War during which he had flown many dangerous missions as a night bomber pilot in Mosquitoes over occupied Europe.
Keith knew the difference between sport and war, as did all his generation, so that while he could be distinctly aggressive on the cricket field he was never unchivalrous and very seldom unsmiling.
Keith Miller was stationed at RAF Massingham for a time during the war.
The Miller room may be used as a family bedroom festuring a Kingsize double bed and an additional single bed.
