Room 5: Adjutant’s
Adjutant Fl/LT Anthony Richardson lived at Little Massingham Manor and had an office on the airfield. He was the Adjutant in charge of the airfield while RAF 18th and 107th Squadrons were based there sustaining consistent heavy losses of aircrew.
When the aircraft returned from a mission he was always there supervising the removal of dead and wounded from the aircraft and tending to the needs of “his boys” and their relatives and families.
A man of exceptional humanity who served above and beyond what could reasonably be expected of any man.
The Adjutant is a Kingsize double bedroom in mint green with coordinating accessories. Guests may bring their pets when staying in this room by prior arrangement.
The Adjutant has a connecting door to the North Sea room allowing both rooms to be booked together as a family room. An additional zed-bed can be put into the North Sea room to comfortably accommodate a family of 4.
