We had a brilliant morning visiting the RNLI to hand over a cheque for an incredible £6,805.50 – all raised for our chosen charity over the past two years.

A huge thank you to everyone who chose to opt in to the £1 added to their bill. Every pound makes a real difference: 50p supports charities and organisations in Great Massingham, helping the backbone of our village, while the other 50p has gone to our chosen charity, @wellsrnli.

We’re incredibly proud to have supported such an amazing charity. Their work saves lives, they’re deeply rooted in our local community, and we can’t thank them enough for everything they do.

It’s not goodbye for long though… we’ll be raising money for the RNLI again at our Seafood Festival this November, and we can’t wait to support them once more.

Wander through the stunning gardens and beautiful parkland as Chadwick’s iconic sculptures are set against one of Norfolk’s finest country houses.

The exhibition is only here until October, so don’t miss your chance to see it.

Part of the DD team, chief mascot, and unofficial emotional support dog.

She takes her role very seriously, making regular rounds of the pub, greeting guests, accepting fuss on demand, and generally keeping a close eye on proceedings.

The good news? She’s not the only dog welcome here. We’re proudly dog friendly throughout the pub, and many of our rooms are dog friendly too, so your four-legged best friend can enjoy a Norfolk getaway right alongside you.

Just don’t be surprised if Daphne thinks she’s the one in charge.
